About LuminX

LuminX is a blend of ten certified organic plant oils, brought together in a single face oil for daily morning and evening use. The base is organic cold-pressed hemp seed oil, lightweight and naturally rich in omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. To this base, we add a considered selection of cold-pressed plant oils, two pure essential oils for the formula's natural fragrance, and a small amount of rosemary extract to preserve the oils naturally.

Every oil in the formula is certified organic — meaning it has been grown and produced without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers, and the supply chain has been independently audited and certified.

The ten oils

Hemp Seed Oil (organic, cold-pressed) The base of the formula. Cold-pressed from the seeds of Cannabis sativa. Light in texture, naturally containing omega-3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.

Jojoba Oil (organic) From the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis, native to the deserts of the American Southwest. Botanically unusual — it's a liquid wax rather than a true oil — and has been a staple of natural cosmetic formulation for decades.

Maracuja Oil (organic, cold-pressed) Pressed from the seeds of the passionfruit (Passiflora edulis), native to South America. Naturally contains linoleic acid and vitamin C.

Pomegranate Seed Oil (organic, cold-pressed) Pressed from the seeds of Punica granatum. Naturally contains punicic acid and vitamin E. Has a slightly warm, fruity note.

Evening Primrose Oil (organic) Pressed from the seeds of Oenothera biennis, the evening primrose flower. Contains one of the highest naturally occurring concentrations of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) found in any plant.

Camellia Seed Oil (organic) From the seeds of Camellia oleifera, also known as tea seed oil. Has been used in East Asian beauty rituals for centuries. Naturally contains vitamins A, B, C and E.

Rosehip Seed Extract (organic, CO₂-extracted) A concentrated extract from rosehips (Rosa canina). The CO₂ extraction method preserves more of the original plant profile than traditional extraction. Naturally contains vitamin A and essential fatty acids.

Lavender Essential Oil (organic, pure) Steam-distilled from Lavandula angustifolia flowers. Provides the formula's soft, calming floral note.

Geranium Essential Oil (organic, pure) Distilled from Pelargonium graveolens. Adds a rosy, slightly green dimension to the aromatic profile.

Rosemary Antioxidant Extract (organic, in <0.01% organic sunflower oil) Derived from Rosmarinus officinalis leaves. Used in a very small amount as a natural preservative to maintain the integrity of the oils over time.

How to use

After cleansing, place 5–6 drops into the palm of your hand. Warm the oil between your palms, then press gently into the skin of the face and neck in small circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Use morning and evening.
