Our Story
Nature's Body started in 2012, in the founder's parents' spare bedroom.
That's not a colourful turn of phrase — it's literally where the first orders went out from. A spare bedroom in a Queensland family home, a desk that probably wasn't ever meant to be a desk, and a founder named Louis who'd convinced himself that there had to be a better way to bring genuinely well-made products to the people who actually wanted them.
What started as a one-person operation in a single room has grown — slowly, deliberately, and very nearly always on our own terms — into the brand you see today.

Built the way we wanted to build it
For the first ten years of trading, Nature's Body didn't run a single advertisement. Not one. No paid social, no Google ads, no influencer deals — just one customer telling another. Someone who'd had a good experience with us would tell a friend, who'd tell their sister, who'd mention it to a colleague at work. Slowly, quietly, over the better part of a decade, word-of-mouth built the entire business.
We're proud of that. It meant earning every single customer the long way: by being properly helpful, by answering the phone when it rang, by sending things out promptly and packed well, and by being honest when something wasn't quite right.
That's still how we operate. The team has grown, the warehouse has grown, the range has grown — but the ethos hasn't shifted a millimetre:

Most of our range is made right here in Queensland, in a GMP-certified facility — manufacturing partners we've chosen carefully and stuck with for years, because they care about the work the way we do. Every ingredient earns its place on our shelf, or it doesn't make it on.

Nature's Body was founded by Louis, who started the business in his parents' spare bedroom in 2012 and is still the one steering the ship today. The team has grown a fair bit since those early days, but it's still small enough that you can email us with a question and get a real, considered reply from someone who actually knows the products inside out.
